Protected Hearts
Our soldiers put their lives on the line for our freedom and we rarely think about it. We are concerned with our lives here and now and do not take time to appreciate the men and women stationed around the world sacrificing themselves for us. This drawing was completed the 30th of December in dedication of our soldiers. Thank you for your service!!

The horse can represent strength in a way and this drawing represents that strength being chipped away slowly that leads to larger cracks. But in this drawing, the horse represents that fractured strength, but still remains standing.

Italian Sea
I did this painting awhile ago for my dad. What I really like about it is the water...and all the plants.
I am now working on a painting for my sister of Italy again...which she has no clue of what it looks like. It's a quarter way done and looking well, I believe anyway. If anyone is reading this, leave comments on what you think of this or any of my other work, if you're feeling up to it of course...:)
Painting relaxes me. It's my time of zen and peace....and it gives me time to think and this painting provided that.

Frozen
Yoohoo!!! Big summer blowout!
These two drawings are of Olaf and then Elsa from the 2013 disney film Frozen. They were quite easy, but fun to draw.
Captain America
So I recently posted a drawing I did based off of a photo reference of Sebestian Stan/Bucky Barnes. I later proceeded to draw Captain America, which was even harder then the Winter Soldier. If ANYONE is reading this, I'd like plenty of constructive criticism on what you think, if you're feeling up to it, of course. This drawing was fun and hard. I did a lot of erasing, shading and tried to get the depth just right. I think it turned out well, not to boast or anything...
Captain America: The Winter Soldier
This one was fun. The real challenge was getting all the expression of his hidden face into his eyes. I greatly enjoyed drawing this character and all the challenges included, like the hair, eyes and suit.
R.M.S Titanic
Now I've studied the Titanic for a little while and that's what persuaded me to draw it. Everyone knows the famous stories of Titanic (and so do I :D) but what really astounds me is the fact that they called her 'unsinkable'. She struck the iceberg at approximately 11:40 PM on April 14th, 1912 and went down at 2:20 AM on April 15th by the bow. What really inspirered me to draw this was Ken Marschall's paintings of Titanic. He included/includes so much detail into his work that (once again) it really inspires me. I found a layout of the ships wreckage and then decided to draw it. It's only a pencil drawing, but I hope it's appealing to the eye.

The Monarch
My very first painting with acrylics on canvas. I saw a photo and liked it, so I decided to paint it. :D
I find it extraordinary that such a small creature is so intelligent and so powerful in its own way. The butterfly can symbolize hope, restoration and renewal. Such a small creature can do so much and I believe that all people should take lessons from these small, but intelligent creatures. God has given us hope, and the Monarch butterfly symbolizes that hope. One small creature can lighten the mood so quickly it's rather extraordinary. That is why I named my business/studio after the Monarch Butterfly; to remember hope. And I hope my artwork speaks through people and worships God at the same time as I paint his creation.
