Ocean Light

Often times we stray from our path and search for the lighthouse of revelation. We can get lost in the sea of trial and tribulation and become occupied with life's interests, not paying attention to what's really important. We need to live each day like it is our last and not get lost in what we are constantly occupied with. Yes, one can focus on important things, but not put it above what really matters. Something tragic can happen, therefore leaving us looking for that lighthouse.

The Virtuous Wife

As I painted this, it got me thinking of how I should act. It taught me patience and how to care for people and not lose my mind. The Virtuous Woman is based off of Proverbs 31:10-31. It was requested by a family member and completed just a few days ago. On top of what I learned, I learned that not only should a woman be patient, kind and understanding, but she should also fear the LORD with a great passion that will reward her for years to come. Painting gets you thinking and this definitely did it for me.

Our soldiers put their lives on the line for our freedom and we rarely think about it. We are concerned with our lives here and now and do not take time to appreciate the men and women stationed around the world sacrificing themselves for us. This drawing was completed the 30th of December in dedication of our soldiers. Thank you for your service!!
